FCRC is excited to welcome Karin Kochis to our pickleball coaching staff!

We are thrilled to add another outstanding player and instructor to the FCRC coaching team. Karin Kochis brings an impressive professional playing career, a passion for teaching, and a love for helping players at every level improve their game.

From New Player to #1 Senior ProMeet

Karin picked up a pickleball paddle for the first time in August 2022 — and it didn’t take long for her to make her mark on the sport. By April 2023, she was competing as a Senior Pro and traveling the country in pursuit of medals, championships, and, as Karin likes to say, a little jewelry along the way!

Since February 2024, Karin has held the #1 ranking in Senior Pro Singles, while also reaching #2 in Senior Pro Doubles and #2 in Senior Pro Mixed.

Her list of accomplishments includes:

3-Time US Open Senior Pro Singles Champion

Multiple-Time APP Senior Pro Singles Champion

#1 Ranked Senior Pro Singles Player

#2 Ranked Senior Pro Doubles Player

#2 Ranked Senior Pro Mixed Player

Drafted for the APP Humana Cup and NPL in 2024

Signed as an NPL player for 2025 and 2026

Now Coaching at FCRC

As impressive as Karin’s competitive résumé is, she also has a genuine passion for teaching. She enjoys working with players of all ages and skill levels, whether you’re trying to build a stronger foundation, improve your strategy and shot selection, or take your game to the next competitive level.

FCRC members now have the opportunity to learn directly from one of the top Senior Pro players in the country.

Karin is available for individual lessons, group lessons, and three-person clinics at Fruit Cove Recreation Club.
